Virg reports that they are using a stock image from Adobe (AI generated):
https://stock.adobe.com/images/generative-ai-illustration-of-ancient-temple-ruins-in-a-jungle/553328679That would certainly be lazy if they used a stock image for the final artwork! There was some oddness about the previous ATOH box they posted ("HOARD" vs. "HORDE"). Perhaps they don't want to be like other sites and just have no image or a stock image and some made up boiler-plate? Agreed with those who think it's a bit shady.
As long as the main info is correct though (as it was with ATOH). Perhaps they were given just an outline, some bullet points and they tried to get an AI to write something about it. But that's pretty risky, not to mention misleading. Witness the reaction in the D&D community to the mere suggestion of using AI art in an official product. BUT this is not Hasbro we're talking about here, just one particular online retail store. Hopefully they'll correct it as soon as they have something real.
In the meantime, perhaps someone should politely and civilly complain to their customer service department...
