@Rusty, I got the ruined castle in a petshop, aquariumsection.

I finished painting few more modells the last days and a big batch of 2 x 2 hirstarts floortiles. I finally dared to paint the epic barbarian sculpt by Boris Woloszyn. The sculpts by Boris are my favorite. I still need to learn a lot when it comes to painting but I like how it turned out. Then I also did a crazy hermit, a doppelgaenger and this bonecreature by otherworld miniatures. I really like the otherworld sculpts they are oldschool and have character!

I like the light you use for your photos even though it makes it a bit difficult to see the models. It provides a nice mood.

I started to get excited about the 3d HQ board project again after having finished my first batch of tiles, it looks more like it is doable now.

One thing is sure, lockdown mode really cranks up productivity on old home projects. I got this really cool snake model from the Conan boardgame on ebay a couple months ago and got around to painting it.

I wanted to try something new for this and paint it with these interference colors I heard about. I primed it with vallejo brown and used the following colors:
basecoat with loren green, castelan green,
golden fluid acrylic interference green/blue (backside)
golden fluid interference green/violet (front/belly),
athonian camoshade wash.
mephiston red/screaming pink mix, blood for the blood god for the mouth.

The interference effect is nice, depending on the light falling in the colors change from green to violet (snake belly/underside).

After venturing deep below ground and into the earth the barbarian faces his first challenge....







He shouldnt have come close to her eggs...

I worked on this Boris Woloszyn mini today. Work in progress but I think I am almost finished.
I ordered some jewelers glasses with led to help out with detailwork and magnification. Waiting for it to arrive.
