It won’t be economical to ship to Europe. The per item prices are pretty low, so you will be spending a bare fraction on the actual product compared to the amount you’d have to pay to get it shipped overseas. I don’t know how you can expect a quote on shipping when they don’t know what or how much you want.

It’s pretty straightforward to use their website. It won’t take long to go through adding things to the cart and uploading files and before you pay it will give you an amount for shipping. From there you can decide if that amount is worth it for you.

Yup, I can confirm this, as I just tried it out. I didn't upload anything, just guesstimated how much I'd like to order from them. As is the case, most HeroQuest board overlays are sized differently from what they offer, so those would have to be custom-made. I just tossed a number of items that I expect to buy, getting a rough idea. The total basket contained about $90 worth of items (about half spent on cards, half on tokens) and shipping it off to the Netherlands would add about another $40 to that. Steep, I guess, but on the other hand, I can't make it by myself in quite the same quality.

Be careful about cards from them. These guys do fantastic on boards/tiles/chits/etc, but their cardstock options aren't the greatest.

Their linen cardstock is very similar to the linen cardstock that you find in Fantasy Flight Games products like Descent (2nd Ed). It's fine, it's serviceable, but it's thinner and kinda chips compared to offerings from MPC. The basic, non-linen, card stocks are "OK" but not great. It feels like it's meant for prototyping, not final production.

If you're getting a "normal" sized card you'll have to use their template and that's a bit fiddly compared to MPC too. It's easy to get cards not perfectly centered and, in my case at least, it was hard to tell if that was due to my placement in their template or the cutting process.

Hmm, thanks for that warning. The only reason to get cards that way was to get actual decks for the Treasure searches and the Scrolls, as well as have actual Spell Cards in hand. Right now I use printed sheets with 9 Treasure cards or 9 Spell Scrolls printed on each page, and roll a D6 + D10 to determine what Treasure or what Scroll is found. Kinda lackluster with respect to actually drawing a card from a shuffled deck.

I'm all for making those into cards. I don't think you'd regret it in the least. I just think there's a better vendor for that.

Somewhere around here recently we were talking about them.

They're pretty cost effective and the cards are absolutely gorgeous and they have a good selection of cardstocks. I've never had a problem with their cards. The template is easy to use too, if your images are sized properly. If they're not it's almost easier to resize your images than play with their template.

Thanks for that heads-up! I somehow missed that topic. I'll see if I can check around on what they have to offer sometime soon. As it is, the next HQ session is coming sunday and then calendar challenges within my group of friends might put the next one a few months down the line.

Printerstudio.com is also a nice address for European customers.

Curious if anyone tried getting any official HQ stuff printed at https://www.printplaygames.com/. Wonder if they would print it at all?

I don't see why they wouldn't, unless you're bulk-ordering that stuff. They state in their FAQ that they don't check the uploaded files to see if they're carefully aligned to the cut-off lines and such, so you yourself are responsible for the proper alignment. I take it that it means they'll simply run the uploaded files through their printers, presses and cutters.

Besides, I suspect that they get materials uploaded from allover the place, making it nigh impossible to check if something is actually copy-righted material at all. In the case of HeroQuest, that's 25 years down the road, that they'd somehow have to remember.
