I have to stop looking at this thread. Your mini's are so cool it makes my mini's look sophomoric.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Man, has it been so long since I painted? :(

Well, I finally finished some heroes for our monthly D&D sessions:

Image

Nothing too fancy, these Bones are nice, but a bit rough on the details. The elf has a serious case of acne, the flesh wash pooled in the weirdest way, which I only noticed in the picture after they were quickshaded. They look fine in hand and on the table though, which was my aim. I may add some moss to the bases.

Not bad at all for quickshading. |_P
I like the Elf babe, she looks either more detailedly sculpted or painted with more effort than the others. Her color scheme is quite awesome.
I hope you're gonna find more time to paint.
The Dwraf girl - or dwowf bwowd - is one of very few Reaper Bones minis I've kept, I like her that much. Will replace her with the metal version first chance I get, though.

Heh, how awesome a back story that would be! Particularly for an Elven villain... Elves love beauty and perfection, a pock-marked Elf would have it pretty bad during their 80 years of High School... Enough to drive any one mad!

I haven't in a LONG time... Last Xmas I think. Yeah it's kinda died a silent death. But we might continue someday. I've come to love a lot of other games as well.
