is better than unpainted miniatures, especially considering these are played by kids.

Two truths right here... You really have to almost put effort into adding a terrible paintjob to make it worse than unpainted

Also the eternal battle between painted miniatures and their adversaries (aka players).

Some players just don't understand or realize that a painted miniature is a tiny fragile piece of art that can take several hours to produce.
Aaaaaand... that's where they start hitting the miniatures into the defending miniatures like two Barbie dolls having sex. :bites-lip:  :x
Or forcibly bopping a minion the head when you move through it's square.

Ogre horde,I never truly cared for the original ogres they were just way to Walt Disney looking,so I replaced them years ago with warhammer ogre kingdom bulls.
Here they are.the "ogre warriors" are basically all the same.
Then there are the rest.i went back and fourth several times on skin colour
Between flesh and grey.In the end I went with grey.
Custom Ogre shaman, cobbled together with odd bits.
Custom ogre weapons rack.

Again nothing to see thanks to photo bucket....
I’ll try to repost again.

I went through and added a few other photos with better lighting.I noticed a few figures showed up really dark and hard to see.

I present to you The witch lord.
The one character that I felt was always missing from the expansion.
He was on the box for crying out loud.A very simple conversation and presto instant witch lord.

The Beastmaster
A character I created years ago over at old scratches with the help of a lot of great people.A lot of whom are here now.

I went with a mix between flesh tone and green.

I like that skin tone choice.
