Did you highlight those black vests with the skintone and its own highlight? :ugeek:
Guys, that's one awesome way to do it. |_P

If I can, I try to incorporate a specific color into the different mixes throughout the miniature. I find this draws the overall palette together and helps blend colors, even if the overall tones are vastly different. I really liked the Vallejo Green Grey as an off-white color, and so I did use it as the highlight tone in many circumstances. So, yes, the skin highlight was the also the vest highlight.

Wow amazing! Love the NMM :D
So why are your bases unusually rounded on the edges?

They look absolutely amazing, that's some quality paint work!

The one thing that detracts from the overall look and feel, though, is that they're too clean for me: all Orcs of a specific weapon have the exact same clothing, not differentiating between one and the other and the weapons are much too polished as well. I guess that's mostly due to my personal feel and thoughts about Orcs: they're savage and cruel, have low intelligence and therefore aren't likely to maintain such discipline when it comes to clothing and weapons, both in maintaining it and making sure it's uniform across the unit, as if they're a brigade.

That's personal taste, however; there's no doubt about the high quality level of your painting work |_P .

That's the original American shape of the bases as they were produced back in the day.
They had better Body points for monsters over the pond, but we had the more beautiful bases. |_P

Hello all!
Back again with another set of miniatures to add to my collection. I present, the Zombies! Easily my favorite Zombie sculpt of all time. So full of character. I love these guys! As always, more pics and info at my blog, https://darthtomsgaming.wordpress.com/2 ... heroquest/
Enjoy, and give me some feedback if you don't mind. Be harsh, I can take it.

Working on some Chaos Warriors and furniture next, we'll see what I finish first...

I can't be harsh about this.
Even fricking Zombies look awesome in that clean style of yours!
I don't know what to say... your highlighting and shading keeps getting better, too.

Guys, look at the light/dark contrasts on the vests!

Cheers, dude! I love very various painting styles, and you represent the clean one.
