Checked on eBay, found a couple.

Ordered one from US, only $25 including delivery. Should keep the fussy one happy she has her favourite miniature returning.

Fussy on food is bad enough.

Item sent but never received. Have been reimbursed by eBay. :(

On to another topic about heroes: I have made the Amazon miniature. Here is the character card.
Image

Took me 4 days to find a suitable image to use. Everything else is scantily clad warriors, which is not an image I need my 9 and 12yr old girls to use. Plus, this matched my miniature better.

But now, I need some good skills for the Amazon, something to set her apart from others.

So far I have (some are from Gold Bearers Amazon skills):
You may use any weapon, but prefer spear, dagger, javelin and bow. You can wield a spear
single-handed when using a shield. Does not work with any other two-handed weapon.
You gain one Combat die when throwing a weapon.
You can wear any armor, but prefer Chainmail or lower to allow better movement.
You can use a normal shield.
GUARD - You are able to give up your attacking action to guard if no enemy is
adjacent to you, including diagonally, allowing you a free melee attack out of turn as soon as
an enemy is in reach, including diagonally. If a monster approaches during the EWPs turn and you have
guarded, you can attack first. The monster defends as normal.

Cant think of anything at the moment. Brain is muddled up due to illness. Looking for community support. :)

It must of taken some time to alter them like you did and have them come out looking that good. Nice work.

I have never tried to alter my HQ figures for fear I would destroy them or they wouldn't look right when I got done with the alteration, and the cost to replace them is out of this world for a few small plastic figure.

As for painting them I went the really cheap way and got the cheap acrylic paint like apple barrel ($.50 a bottle), because I like you can't afford the good paint like citadel or vallejo.

You only need 5 colors: black, white, red, yellow, blue plus primer.

I know you only need the colors of the color plait, however I work with my hands for a living and hobby's come last when it comes to bills and keeping the roof over my family's head, that's why I went the cheap way (the wife didn't kill when I only sent a few dollars on paint).

Bought a couple of sprues for High Elves. Had Ms Fussy pick the parts to make her own Ranger.

Gluing the pieces together, then will paint it the familiar red. No complaints about it as she 'built' him, plus I manipulated the parts to make it similar looking to the original.

Not quite the same, but she is happy with him, that's what matters. She might return to HQ gaming now.

As for modding miniatures, I have 2 full sets of main game, with plenty of extras.
Bought stuff off eBay that had extra figures to play with.
My Air Elemental miniature took 2 Elf figures to make. :P
But the were both damaged already.

Get lots of extras, then go nuts. I still have bags of Goblins, Orcs, Fimirs plus Undead I can mess around with.
Not to mention my bag of Barbarians. All missing a weapon, but good to use their bases for new player pieces, or if I want strong legs on a miniature.

Some of the bags of bits cost me $10, $30 at the most.

Have at it Thor-In. Loads of fun making, making a card, then sharing at the Inn. |_P

MadMickyG,

I have just been given a third incomplete copy of the game last week (that got destroyed  ), so now I have a few extra of everything so I can try to customize some, and if I fail, oh well I have more :D .

Take your time Thor-in. See your design, then make it.

If it messes up, give that a name. ;)
