lol thanks. yeh i will put some 'shine' on those once i get my hands on some varnish. for now though. its finally done...onto finishing dungeon doors and other dungeony goodness |_P

The Trollslayer's lower base is a great idea. He not only works to scale, but kicks ass to boot.

And here I go again...going through your thread getting blown away by your pics. And I was wondering again....

how...do...you...paint like that???

I know its a big question but I really love the look and style of your minis and was wondering how on earth do you do it. How do you achieve such clear colors and this great contrast and depth? Do you start with a dark basecoat or bright? Do you use drybrushing at all or is it just all detailwork? It would be so cool if you could share some of your philosphy and technique! :):)
