Oh yeah, Dave is one of the co-owners and my brother-in-law's brother-in-law, so he feels we're kind of related. The other co-owner, Matt, is a good friend of my younger sisters and my brothers-in-law.

I finally bought this gameboard (in french version) + the expansion 3.5.
However they sent me the expansion n°5 (university) instead so I made a complaint and got the replacement for free.
It means I have the reedited basic box + expansion 3.5 & 5.
It's funny & simple but I would rather prefer a Resident Evil board game with minis of the hunters, lickers, plant monsters, giant spiders etc ...
Zombies are boring to kill after many parties !

Had fun playing it. The flooding of zombies can bog things down, but some fixes have been offered by fans. I'd love to try Last Night on Earth next.

By the way, are there quests of HQ about zombies as main theme. Example an zombie prague in the medieval city.

By the by - it sounds like this Zombie game could be "adapted" to create a form of HQ, could it not? hehehe

I'm reanimating this long dead thread. I love this game didn't get to play it often, my friends were dedicated HQ players. I've got up to 3.5, and ordering others just for collecting purposes. Mainly wanted to say a smart phone version of this game is comming out or already has on droid. I don't have droid. Lastly I had a really awesome zombie quest once. I made a town with tile buildings on a green sheet with a grid drawn on it. There were 4 plague doctors who were raising 1 zombie each a turn. the Hero's were tough some could manage to kill more than one a turn. There were archers and militia trapped in buildings that would help if rescued. The Hero's had to save certain people and kill the plague doctors. It was a long quest but fun. As long as the heroes didn't get surrounded they were fine.

We play this one often have all the expansions + zombie town mixed it all together really adds to the game when you can pull different zombies out of the zombie pool.clowns,zoo animals various male / female zombies and dogs.
Also picked up a hot wheels/ matchbox helicopter for the helipad.

I enjoyed it the few times I got to play it, but I've had trouble keeping others interested in it, especially after we played Zombicide.
They're quite different games, of course, but I think they both do a decent job of simulating the "Zombie movie" feeling. However, many in my gaming group prefer co-op over competitive, so I think that's why Zombicide was a bigger hit and has gotten more plays.
