I extracted the proverbial (as is common amongst friends where I grew up), Decipher took it badly and rage-quit the forum.

I would hardly call it "rage-quit". He just came across as fed up with certain things to me.

I am, perchance, overly dramatic.
I've been told a million times not to exaggerate.

I feel so bad and responsible about this, as it was just a flippant comment on my part, and was generally curious. I didn't realise it would be taken this way!

A bad day or pre-history you didn't know about will take all light-heartedness in a comment away and make it a sour, picky, unfair criticism of the recipient and salt in their wounds.
It's not BOB's fault and not Slev's, but it was taken in ... a mood, I guess, that's been building up over time. A guy snapping is what that was.
No need to feel responsible. It's an internet forum with written posts, devoid of personal circumstance, not a personal conversation with a friend where you might see or feel you're stepping over the line a day's mood will set you.

I'll just leave this here... although I can't decide which way is more expensive, original or lego?

Lego isn't exactly cheap either... But I still think it would be cheaper than original 40k stuff.

I don't know about that StratosVX... A well painted army on a detailed modelled board is incredible badass as well.
But I definitively know which one is easiest to do WYSIWYG.

Am I old enough already to say "when I was young"?

Anyways any case, when I was young we had no problems with certain topics such religion, fiddly diddly drugs or science. Also flipping out by a member were very rare. Now after I've been gone for a while, the whole forum is turning into a war zone. What would you lot do without me...

HQ is all about the fun for me, and there is lots of it to be had (see my recent post on the Heralds of Chaos Questpack for an example). The stuff I do is for me and my bro. I share some of it here on the offchance that someone might find some of it useful, entertaining etc. And I look at the stuff other people do, for which I am very grateful, and sometimes use it, adapt it, comment on it and so forth. If someone posted that what I had written was a pile of doggy poo, and I was an idiot for even considering it post worhty, I would actually find it amusing. Fine, maybe it was, but I couldn't give a doggies behind! :D .

The big shame here is that someone who was doing stuff I was interested in, and actually using, has stopped posting :( . but he is free to take offence whether it was intended or not, and free to not post anymore, but I sincerely hope he comes back.
