Which miniatures do I get?

Yeah, I just reread your other thread, and decided to find substitutes, and remake all these monster cards with pictures of my own minis. A lot cheaper, and I'm already up to my nose in minis.

I have at least a thousand miniatures. My friend Mick (owner of Eastern Front Miniatures) has tens-of-thousands of them. You can never have too many.

Here's an example of what my cards are going to look like:

I used the NA HeroQuest card colours, I think it worked out rather nicely. These can be placed on a sheet of paper (letter/A4) and printed as a reference leaflet, or cut out and laminated/sleeved as cards. Which means I'm going to have to make a card back as well

Well, there might be some coloured images of painted classic miniatures from AHQ around, after all, the tokens have pictures of all these monsters too. Perhaps I can also make a set of "classic" cards, using my coloured template and the pictures of the classic miniatures. If anyone wants a coloured set of AHQ monster cards, find me some high res images of all the classic models, painted, and I'll make a set after I finish my own set

I hope one day kickstarters come about that feature old-school figure sculpts for the old boardgames like AHQ and WHQ (to battle level 10). It's been done for D&D. Sure, it would cost, but not as dearly as collecting vintage GW figs. Some of the old stuff could stand for an upgrade, anyway. Heck, I'd even shell out for some of the rare Dark World stuff. I think a successfully funded project could even supply plastic for a core set of the figs.
