Only 5 nested spoilers. We will definitely need more of those.
(My opinion of this could change with sobriety) |_P

I can't seem to use the regular Reply and Quote functions on the forums to reply, I can only use the "quick reply" function to make replies. The regular Reply function will lets me compose a reply, but the website times out when I submit it. Quick Reply works fine every time. Not sure if my browser is just being flakey.

I've had problems with Internet Explorer timeouts while posting here at the Inn. Opera doesn't do that to me. Conversly, I can't get Opera to always show images in posts while Explorer does great. I currently have both browsers open to handle whatever I need.

Decipher has created a Quest template to be used within Photoshop to make the process quicker:

Decipher wrote:Open this up in photoshop, paste your Hero Scribe Quest Map at the top, edit the text, print.

Template: http://www.mediafire.com/download/5h4dh ... -final.zip

I also included a Chaos Warlock icon to put on the Quest map. I always wondered why there is no monster card or icon for him.

It is kind of lost in his original Quest thread. Others have complimented its ease of use, so why not sticky a new topic under Big Bene's at Board index ‹ HeroQuest Rooms ‹ HeroQuest Additions ‹ Quests and Quest Packs?

[Sticky added to the Quest Packs subforum. -edit]

two or three new forum tags would be cool for the quest maker subforums.
I know, i know. But one can dream. :-)

[questeu][/questeu]
[questus][/questus]

for having the quest text in eu or us format: In EU format with morcar's sigle, in US format this red frame with yellow interior.
It could behave like the quote box: As big as needed.

The first line would be formatted as mini headline, centered ("Quest 03 - Group Quest") in Caxton BK BT
The second line would be formatted as real headline, centered ("The Candlestick Laboratory") in Zapf Chancery Medium Italic
The other lines would have two paragraphs ("Look out heroes, the emperors wizard Wemperor was taking all the candlesticks and is hiding them in his mountain hideout Castle of Candle. Seek him out and save as many Candlesticks as you can") in Caxton BK BT
Letters in Dark brown for EU and US.

[noteeu][/noteeu]
[noteus][/noteus]

same for quest notes:
Single letters at the beginning of a phrase (A:) are formatted like Mark A in US format, or as normal but fat letter in EU format, in ITCClearface or even better, in HQModern. Pink for US, Dark brown for EU.

[usdivide]
this beautiful us questnote divider line. Pink for US, Dark brown for EU.

[monsterstats][/monsterstats]
for... well... monster stats. This little stat line that you can find in quest notes.
line above, then headline row, then stats, then line below. ITCCLearface or HQModern. Pink for US, Dark brown for EU.

[Wanderingmonster][/Wanderingmonster]
To format the wandering monster of the quest. In ITCCLearface or HQModern Pink for US, Dark brown for EU.

I Agree, it would be very useful (and cool) for creating quests directly inside the forum!

The Spanish forum Heroquest.es has a built in function to create quests to be published on he fly like the one Anderas sayd. I think it's so much intresting.
You have to post a new message and there is a button of a scroll; when you press it a lot of tags are featured in your message and you can edit it with the text you like.
You only need to generate a heroscribe map first, upload the map image somewhere else and paste the correct url beetween the tags.
The result will be like this:

forumes2.jpg
