The Cards have Arrived :D

Postby phoenixcinder » March 12th, 2021, 7:03 pm

Took almost a year to get all these cards designed, laid out and proofed. The printed cards finally arrived in the mail today :)

There are close to 700 cards. I decided to colour code the cards because one thing that really annoyed me about the original cards was separating the expansion cards from the base set after a game. So to make that easier the cards have coloured borders that indicate the origin of the card.

here is the colour template
Image

Black borders are unofficial cards which make up around 60% of all the cards I will be uploading.
Close to 200 of those cards are based on the artwork from the sticker album

All cards are 300DPI designed to fit on bridge sized cards and have an included bleed of 1/8in

Some pics of the printed cards

Here is the first batch. Treasure cards. These cards are designed to be a "build your own deck" style as there are over 160 treasure cards. Each treasure card has an icon on the bottom right that indicates what kind of treasure card it is.(gold, potion, wandering monster, hazard, other). This way when building out the treasure deck for the game you can ensure the ratio of good to bad treasure cards stays the same.

Sadly this site doesn't allow me to upload anything more than 14mb so here is a link to the zip file which will unfortunately expire in 7 days

https://spaces.hightail.com/receive/FZo ... ZmNjgxNDEw

Anyone know of a way to upload a larger file on this forum so the file will not expire?
I will most likely hold off on uploading more cards until I can find a better more permanent way to add them here

Cool way to do it with the color coding... ! I see as a true completist you reprinted the official ones too so they fit with your new categorizing system (and reduce wear on the antiques!).

I started to tint my custom cards (made Frozen Horror an icy blue color and some spell scrolls by element group) then stopped because I didn't mind that much. Then again you have a few hundred more cards than I do...

I realized that ATOH didn't have any cards (no treasure cards, certainly)... unless you make homebrews of what was on the chaos spell tokens and the quest book of course.

yeah I had to reprint all the official cards too as the size of the official cards are not the same size as the bridge cards .Plus I printed all the cards on a linen card stock

Yeah ATOH didn't have any officical cards but I used that color when making the monster cards for ATOH

I love your system, honestly it looks like a very nice project and I'm glad your patience was rewarded. I get sad when I see people selling this kind of stuff online but for your own private use or as a legit gift for a family member who is also a fan (to synchronize your sets)? Very awesome.

It shows you love making the stuff and I hope you get a lot of use out of it!

So here is the treasure cards again

Can someone confirm if they were able to get the zip file in the link above?

Equipment Cards
All the official equipment cards and a bunch of others I found on here and elsewhere, then formatted to fit with these cards.
Note there are some doubled in this set as I wanted multiples of some equipment I could see more than one hero wanting to buy
