100,000 Posts

Postby Stig » Wednesday April 29th, 2020 4:40am

Anyone else noticed we've reached 100,000 posts? That's one big milestone! Assuming I've done the maths right, reading 10 posts/day would mean it would take around 30 years to read everything, assuming no new posts. :ugeek:

I love the Heroquest and the Inn, there's so much amazing material to browse, and so many projects on the go. The Quests here are terrific and there's an amazing community. The Inn itself is like one big Quest Map to be explored, with so much treasure hidden in odd corners.

Congrats to Dullandrusty for being the 100,000 poster.

Thanks to everyone for keeping this amazing game alive, being very helpful, and providing so many valuable insights to making it even better. My own homebrew and questing experience have benefited hugely from the suggestions here.

Time for a beer I reckon

Whoa! 100,000 posts!?! That is crazy awesome. Such a good community here. Otherwise we wouldn't come anywhere close to that!

How do you see that?

100k wow for such a small hobby like ours.

Yes it's fun digging up 30 year old material.
Sadly most of the new ones go to Facebook first.

You are right about that, I'm in a group on Facebook that post stuff about HeroQuest. However it's just not that same community as we have here.

Anderas, I know for me personally, almost anything I post about HeroQuest (or even my spin-off rpg) on Twitter or Facebook,
I make sure to post here, as well. Thor-in is very right, there are other communities, but they are not the same as the Inn.

Too bad we can't expand the Inn to Facebook or Twitter somehow to get more active members here at the Inn.

There are lots of members posting in Facebook recommending people check us out here. Even today I checked the FB group, and someone asked "are there any ways to expand Heroquest". I was about to type a reply to look here, but someone beat me to it! Those who are serious will hunt us down, discover the secret door, and find the treasures contained within.
