So it looks like I’ll be going to Gencon this year (2018).
Do any of you know of pickup games going on there or at other gaming conventions?
Are there any better conventions for Heroquest?
Anyone else going?

I haven't been to GenCon for 17 years, but as I remember there wasn't much Hero Quest at the time. I took part in a two-board, single-round HQ-event. I'm pretty sure the Games Library had a copy or two of Hero Quest on hand, ready to play for an event ticket. Maybe there's more nostalgic interest today.
