All the pines, spruce and other fir trees still have their greenery. Now all the other trees are
getting the smallest little sprouts of green, so petite, like green baby Brownies, so small and
fragile looking

Gerald's wife, Gayle, is a marvelous chef and even out and about she is able to put together
something that makes the mouth water and the tongue wallow around in euphoric delight.

As Archibald put it, "Now, I don't think I have ever seen a cat lose it's mind, but that's about
the closest description I can think to give to what happened to Molly"

Do you mean the chanter? Seems like more story is needed to recognize anyone to me. Or I just missed the reference.

Yes, the little chanting guy. I've been meaning to add more on to the story.
Didn't have time last week, and then got distracted with something new over
the weekend. The woes of trying to put out so much material by one's self...
the "squirrel chasing bright shiny objects" issue happens often.

Don't worry - I'll add to it soon, and it might become clear who the character is.
You didn't miss any reference yet...the name is a bit of a clue...but the next scene
should firm up who it is.

So, there was a bad lapse in energy, ambition, and time to write.
We're getting back at it, though, and we're coming up with new material.
Here is the newest storyline taking place this year in Suntarynn:

COH1 - M3-D3 - Gardeners in the Royal Gardens in ChilRuin begin seeing odd weeds. They pluck them,
but they come back within days, typically a bit larger than before.

COH2 - M3-D27 - This marks the first instance of a Gardener being bitten by the unidentified weeds. Royal
officials are concerned and visitors to the Gardens are warned to stay away from the weeds.

COH3 - M4-D16 - Reports come back about carnivorous weeds have burrowed great tunnels under the gardens.
Roots span several hundred yards in all directions. Living vines hang from the ceilings.

COH4 - M4-D29 - A Garden Safekeeper returns to the palace alone, bloody and scarred. Giant living plants
have been discovered deep underneath Chilruin, with roots climbing up from the Edges.
