I can only come up with 2:
Patrick Stewart as Mentor
Channing Tatum as Northern Wasteland Barbie

The other roles are just too difficult to cast for me. And the lack of women in the game system makes for a total sausagefest.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

What about the elf princess?
And, you can never see if a dwarf is a man or a woman! :)

I don't quite get it...
Is it the lack of women that makes the roles difficult to cast for you , or is this just an unrelated complain? And when yes, why? I can easily think of actors for the female roles in my favorite books.
How is it a problem to relate to a group not of your gender, when you seem to have no problem with half of the group not even beeing your species?
Most male players would like female heroes.
If they wear chainmail bikinis and have the curves to fit those, of course. But then again, the male heroes are not your average real-world couch potatoe, too. They are heavily cliched. Nothing wrong with that. It's just a game.
Have a look ;)

OH MAN! Are we going to get started on the "equal representation" of females in fantasy mess??
(some sarcasm included here - I'm not completely insensitive)

Let's just face the facts that women wouldn't typically have become adventurer types to go out and
fight and kill goblins, orcs, and chaos warriors. And let us not also forget about the idea of perception -
how proper would it look if one or two females were traveling all over the land with a group of males?
To be honest, those ladies would have to have complete trust in the men to travel with them in such a
way, unless they agreed that something kinky would be going on.

However, these could easily be females:
Wizard
Cleric/Priest
Elf
Archer
Healer
Dwarf
Bard
Thief/Rogue/Trap-something-person

So. I am reading the original Conan stories at the moment. There, women are equally distributed among the stories. Some are weak and just there to be saved, some are strong and stand for their own. As in the Conan stories, there is but one main Charakter, you could say men and women are equally represented. :)

Second, in my soon to be delivered HQ25 there are as many female heroes as male heroes. Ok, maybe the distribution is not exactly equal, but more or less.

Third, as german i would never have imagined that "sausagefest" indeed is a correct english word. Thanks for making me laugh!

You are applying the morals of the past onto a fantasy world that exists in our minds only. Glorantha could be in the future or the past.

But that is beside the point...
Equitable treatment is not asking allot from the world. It literally takes not one thing from men.
