Anyone else read "Invincible" comics? They are literally the best thing coming out these days.

Has anyone been reading the Game of Thrones graphic novels? I'm tempted to get these as they come out but not sure.

I also have a couple of Star Wars graphic novels which I acquired over the last year. I have quite a number of the novels (quality of stories vary from very good to very ordinary) but I grabbed the graphic novel versions of the original movies (don't remember if I grabbed the prequels), The Thrawn Trilogy, Shadows of the Empire and The Rogue Squadron omnibuses'.

Sjeng - I actually have the original Drizzt series (Crystal Shard, Steams of Silver, Halflings Gem) in graphic novel/omnibus.
I want to get the Prequel set. And if you like Drizzt books - go to audible.com and get the audiobooks. The narrator,
Victor Bevin, is absolutely amazing.

Redav, I've been wanting to pick up some of the Star Wars omnibus graphic novels

Some are pretty good. Not sure Zahn can do much wrong and the Thrawn ones are really good. If it weren't for wanting something unknown, I'd have loved to have seen them used for EP's 7 - 9. I also have Dark Empire which I found tougher to read. Still happy to have read them because some novels and graphic novels only exist as they are and reference each other so there were things that were mentioned in passing in the books that I had no understand of what they were about.

Make sure you stop after book 28 - Asterix and the Magic Carpet. The series is a bunch of flying *lemony goodness* after that.

The only one I knew about was "The Hedge Knight". I own it and it was alright, but it took place before the books.

Yup. I'm tempted to get them too although he hasn't finished the Hedge Knight novels yet. I'll be after them in print but the current ones cost a kidney because they're out of print

I just found out Brent Weeks has a book I didn't know about called The Perfect Shadow. I'm thinking that will have to take precedence over everything else once I'm caught up on Game of Thrones.

I've recently read the online webcomic WormWorld.

There will be 3 story arcs, each with about 10 volumes!
Volume 1 is chapter 1-3 of the first arc. Volume 2 will be chapters 4 and 5.

I wouldn't personally recommend the Alien omnibus. Frankly I just found it slow and boring.
If you just can't get enough of Aliens, give it a go. Otherwise sneak read a bit before you buy it.

I have 3 alien omnubi (?), AvP and predator as well. And several SW omnibi too! I love them all!
