What do you say to a friend...

Postby TMU » August 12th, 2014, 1:27 pm

...that is having an on/off relationship? What do you say if he/she has broken off three times in a half year? I mean it sucks to see that happen over and over again. :? Do you know anyone who has been in this situation? How did you help him/her?

I just thought that Inn needed some happier things to discuss :P

Ditto to what ruiza said.

They are obviously having some problem(s) that is causing their relationship to fail. Maybe they are unaware of what that problem might be, maybe they are aware and are unwilling/unable to fix it. I think that reflection might help them uncover these problems and might help them see what path they need to take.

Are we talking about 17 year olds? Then all of the above tips might be utterly useless.

Yup :D So I thought as well. I was actually looking for something that would make her better. She isn't doing too well :p First time she texted me about it, second time she drove to talk to me ftf, and now she said she doesn't even want to talk about it cuz she feels so bad. :bites-lip:

As the somewhat frazzled father of a 17 year old girl, my only advice to ANY 17 year old in this situation would be - 'pull your head of your ass'

Re: What do you say to a friend...

Postby Goblin-King » August 13th, 2014, 3:56 am

So I was like supposed to go on this date with Jennifer, but then the day before I saw Jennifer on a date with Brad who is like my best buddy.
Then I got like super pissed and called Melissa instead and asked her out for a date. But somehow Jennifer found out and now she is super mad at me.
I talked to Brad and he's not really into Jennifer. But I think I like Melissa more than Jennifer and now I kinda just feel sad for Jennifer.
Then I tried hooking her up with Josh so I could feel better about dating Melissa, but then she just got even more mad and I was like whatever! I don't care!
So now I'm dating Melissa but Jennifer started dating Brad again just to annoy me.
Brad is too good for her and I think she should be with Josh instead.

Question: How do I break up Brad and Jennifer without any of them knowing I did it?
