Sweet man, totally cool! My wife also has a soprano saxophone! Ideal for carnival she doesn't want to lug around her alto sax. As you can see in my picture, my pocket trumpet is also very handy to take along. My regular trumpet plays better though.
This is our carnaval band. My wife and I are the two in the brown coats with the hagrid hair and goat horns on our heads. And guess what we're playing (just the first 15 seconds or so)

Hmmmm... I'm starting to rethink my initial opinion of Sjeng. Good stuff even though I don't know anything that was said. It seems each one of us has some sort of life outside the hobby hole of painting miniatures. I'm glad I'm not the only one that actually goes outside (once in a while)

Also I actually love being outside - Unfortunately all my hobbies are pretty much inside only.

Lucky you. My hobbies are inside my parents' house only. My apartment is just too small for my minis.

So aside from short hair and hats, there seems to be a smattering of muso's(musicians) through YE OLDE INN too.
By chance Sjeng, is that a type of helicon in the back row ?

Yup, that is a helicon. The guy being interviewed "plays" it. Well, he makes a sound with it.

Now that was a weird instrument.

HAHAHAHAHAHA yup's hat is a weird instrument be very interested in how it actually sounds. But for the record I know how to play the sousaphone and BB bass tuba does that count . There was a fella who used to play the Helicon when some were membres of the 'Hobart City Veterans Band' when I was a teenager.
