I've added Monster Cards and started Spell cards for my set. The Monster cards use the SDE template again, but for the spell cards I've put a lot of work into modifying an MTG future sight template to look congruous with the other SDE templates. The gist is the curves look more hocus-pocusy for spells. The button on the top right is the recast cost (see Showdown's recasting system; the recast cost is the number of CDs rolled. If one is rolled the recast fails and the spell is discarded permanently. For each rolled the Hero loses one mind point)

I think it's a good idea to put the set of first appearance somewhere on the card, as so many expansions have "orc boss" or "ogre", all of which are different in some way.

They look blurry but if you click them they open up

Not HQ because nothing lately beside for the FB page and work has been HQ related, but here is the table I started a year or so ago.

I did manage to find time to paint a wizard figure though.

Have been making some card boxes from templates I found on line. I replaced some of the images with sharper ones and I'm pleased with the results. I varied the size to accommodate both EU and USA sizes. Have a look here....

I am building a custom HQ board with bigger tiles (30x30mm). Above you can see the board with the walls. Some walls are detachable with magnets to make space for overlays.

Finished the rooms and corridors today. They are made of 2mm Depron foam board. Tomorrow I will fill some gaps and apply the base coat.

Ha! Heroquest goes model train. I like those selfmade boards. Many put lights inside or 3d terrain like bones, shoes, the forgotten note in the one corner there...

I am (finally) about to paint my last eight Heroquest zombies. I never did until now, but why?
