Hello!

I must say this site is quite wonderful! I am currently gathering components to play HQ, a game I adored in my younger years. Much of my original HQ stuff was lost during a divorce (she sold tons of my gaming stuff during the process grrr). Anyway, I have quite a large board game collection now and felt it only right to add this classic to my shelves!

But I'm not just doing the "standard" route...I'm going to be using proxy models and possibly focus on a themed-fantasy setting. Will be interesting to explore the forum and see what others have devised!

Welcome! Yes there’s lots of amazing stuff here. You’ll be amazed. If using proxy models just watch out for the size of the squares; they’re pretty small.

Classic warhammer bases at the ready, I've a full bag of them. Although as a kid I always remember preferring the "Real" GW bases on the box back image, wishing I had those. Best proxies I'm loving at the minute are DARK WORLD. Ogres with MUSCULARITY. As it happens, i'm selling loads on ebay... a few sets worth in stock.

Man, that's worse than being knocked unconscious by Bellthor's poisonous breath and losing all your gold and gems!
