I have asked Derpy to lay off the emoji talk. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am way too old to understand anything she is typing. Getting a phone text from her is a translation disaster for me.

Absolutely not, just discussion. Offence is the barbarian hacking his way through a room as the dwarf rolls two :roll1: :roll1: in a row. :barbarian: kills the last monster, :dwarf: rolls high, searches for treasure and gets the horde. "Why you little...."

oh, my Goddess I laughed right as I was taking a drag off my smoke!
I have seen this exact scenario so many times.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Darn dwarf

Postby The Admiral » August 6th, 2015, 4:37 pm

I'm off to my brother's on Monday for our annual summer gaming week. HQ will of course form a large part of the menu. It is the turn of my brother's barbarian and his motley crew this year. In the Barbarians last quest a few years ago (Frozen Horror), the dwarf died as usual and I have decided to replace him with a Trollslayer. Still a dwarf, but maybe he can break the mold and become a beloved character this time!

That's what I'm talking about! This could happen for anyone - but it ALWAYS happens for the dwarf!

:P

Yeah, no idea.

That said, when I first got online on the mid-90's, IRC abbreviations where standard. I still don't understand people not following them on the intermewebs.
