So the doors have been moving much slower then I expected. I finally got all the open doors cut, edged, and clear coated; all that's left are the hidden doors. I have 12 built, is that enough?

It quickly became apparent I needed a box to keep all these doors from spilling everywhere. I had an old phone box in a drawer that just so happened to be exactly the right size for all the doors. Sometimes it's better to be lucky then good I guess

I'll have to find something cool to decorate the box with now.

The dice were tedious just due to the number I made, but really weren't that hard. I'd recommend that process to anyone try to make their own custom dice.

Finally got some stuff back from the print shop today!


I added "The Maze" as the first quest in the Questbook since it was available here


Probably my favorite of the bunch is the pads of character sheets I had made. I cleaned up one of the images hosted here with fresh text (From the font package), deleted pixel artifacts and redrew the lines. The image prints clean up to full 8.5x11 now, but I opted for tare-away pads of 5x7.


With all that in hand we just HAD to play test a level! Our family played The Maze, adding spell and treasure cards for the first time. My son LOVED having spells to cast, but struggled as to why the barbarian didn't have magic


Now it's just a matter of building furniture and finishing the box and my set will be complete

I wish I had your ability and tools to cut out those tile bases. I have to settle for materials of lesser quality that I had to cut out by hand. Did you use my tiles that I posted up here? Nothing imprecise about those guys--I shopped them up real good.

Also, you can buy an inexpensive corner-cutter from Wal-Mart to use on your cards.
