HQ25 Armory

I'd like to know what you think about an expansion of the armoury for HQ25.
I was just looking at the NA Equipment and the options are a bit... bland.

I don't want to expand too much, just some few options.
For example GimmeYerGolds expanded armoury is already too much, for my taste:

Sotiris's Armoury again, while better than the base game armoury, is still too small for my taste

I love in Sotiris Armoury that you just add up all the defense dice, so full defense is shield plus helmet plus chain mail plus plate mail.

There are things really missing in the base game armoury.
Spear, Short Bow, Sling, just to name a few. I'd like to add like, 4 or 5 items maximum.

What do you think?

HQ25 uses all equipment from the game system. This includes the wizard exclusive items from the EU version.

  • hand ax

Next, two additions for the EU Game System
  • longsword (maybe not needed)
  • 1AD staff (we have the Lightning Rod, can also add the Wizard's Cloak)
Third, some GimmeYerGold (inspired) ideas:
  • shortbow
  • torch (+2 movement, in place of a shield, lasts one Quest but is lost if unequipped)
Last, some others to pick from (or not):
  • mace (350 gold coins)--3AD, armored opponents roll one less Defend Die
  • rope (100 gold coins)--free a Hero you can "see" from a slough trap, (water trap, quicksand) or deep pit trap if anything but a black shield is rolled on one combat die
  • harness (100 gold coins)--allows a Hero to carry one additional weapon other than daggers

I have taken a screenshot of my own armoury which was inspired a lot by ideas I have gathered from here and my own thoughts, please feel free to use anything (or nothing) from it for this project.
