I wouldn't mind sending a couple of figures but to be totally honest I'm not really keen to own such a special collection.
I think it's a great idea, so I would like to contribute as many figures as I can but I prefer to be excluded from the draw, someone else will probably appreciate the figures more than me.
My guess was that more people would be involved so far so I could take up some figures that were left.
So instead of signing up now for some particular figures that others might find it easier to paint, I am standing beside this project and letting Spiky know that I'm good for painting something like 3-4 figures (or possibly more if needed) when other people have taken up painting most of the figures.
I can probably do anything except goblins and gargoyle, I don't have any spares left but maybe I'll have in the future.
p.s. Is everyone ok with the substitute figures? I would prefer it if this would be a complete original set, so that it retains the sentimental value.
Conversions should be ruled out too, maybe only very simple ones should be allowed, like different weapons for the orcs and goblins. Not converting a wizard to a necromancer or anything like that.
But that's just my opinion, I'm happy with the rules as they are but I think conversions are more appropriate for the miniature exchange.
In my mind this should be a classic HeroQuest set, all original figures and not even too much freedom in the painting department as well.
