Screw it, I'm officially in. It's not the way I wanted it to be, but that's better than not having it at all. Plus, I got a lot of custom furniture.
If anyone needs help with what tools to use or colors or whatever, PM me.

I would be interested in doing this, because custom built furniture is: fun, cheap (balsa wood), and does not require me to part with classic HQ figures!
If this topic picks up again, count me in.
