That's a nice Skeletor, his arms look a little out of proportion, but the overall look has been captured perfectly.

oh I totally agree, I used Fimir forearms and Orc hands... (The Fimir model only has four fingers on each hand by the way)... But yeah I just have to assume that this Skelator has been hitting the gym pretty obsessively. Admittedly it doesn't look too bad once its out on the board and we are all sitting above it looking down (he is the model I use for the Witch Lord). My friends freaked :o when I put him down on the table for the first time.

Well, don't forget how ripped Skeletor actually is! He's as huge as He-Man! You don't wanna mess with a sorcerer who lifts and also wields both a staff and a sword!!!

It was entirely random. I wrote everyone's name on pieces of paper and placed them in a cap. Then went down the list of entrants and pulled a name for them to paint for. It was possible for two people to draw each other, but it didn't happen.

To be honest I don't think is necessary to make the bases as people have their own ones.
After all it is supposed to be a miniature from someone else and not yourself.
I personally would try to recreate the base the person wants, now that it's suggested, but I didn't even think of it beforehand.

Just for the record, I like plain bases and I paint mine to a close colour as the original figure's plastic, but in the christmas exhchange I got this chaos warrior from goblin king with a milliput style base and it looked awesome. Makes him look a lot more special.

Well, the thing is, I haven't done bases a lot. I've tried like...two times :p

I wouldn't mind getting a different style either, I just like the look of a stone-tile base.

Yeah, I'm sure it's totally clear that no one would mind whatever they got. That's the spirit of the exchange after all.
I was just trying to say that a different style base of what we already have makes it all the more special.

Anyway, my idea is formed and so is the first stage of my work. I can't wait to do more.
