I think it will get more views, perhaps people have stopped looking on the figure exchange topic now that the thing is over.

Also, I see some paint missing on the lip of the santa orc. Is it because of my packaging? Did you get it this way? Perhaps it received a lot of small children handling? Or maybe the varnish? Although, this varnish I use on every mini, it's a little shiny but I prefer it cause it's very sturdy.

No, I only gave it to her for the photo.

Try the matte finish of Army painter (over the varnish). Gives great results.

Well, here we go:

For this kind of operation, you need to take the subjet apart first.

Head is finished (jaws and cheekbones, ribcage is mostly hollowed out. The head is still fixed to the body for better handling, but...

... off it must come!

Hollow ribcage finished, now let's move on to separate the ribs...

worked pretty well on the right side (which is protected by the arm)

On the left side, some ribs are broken. I have done this before, there will alway be some casualities...

But no worry, green stuff and Miliput are the modeller's friends!

All parts are finished and ready for putting them together. Some are already painted.

Thanks for the tip, but I feel this really belongs here. And after I posted anew, the figure exchange thread will be showed under "new comments", so I think people will ntice it.
