Nothing new on page 5, just more general rules about the quest book, game screen, combat dice, and monster cards. There's also further confirmation that the combat dice are used when leveling up, and the monster cards not only show the regular statistics, but also a gold reward amount.

Here's what I've got so far. Lots of text on 5 pages.

Finished Page 6. Not many new rules on this page either.

Here are the translations:

This is the final page of the Introduction section.

Great work! Now my question...
May I use your translation to carry the rulebook over into German?
The forum members of hq-cooperation.de are really really interested...

Sure. :) But be aware, I don't speak or read Japanese. I'm relying on http://translate.google.com and http://www.jisho.org, an online Japanese dictionary. I'd really like it if someone who knew Japanese could check my work.

As soon as I'm done with the whole rule book, I'll upload my translation document. I suppose the jpegs aren't very convenient. :(

Page 7 starts the section on the Beginner Rules. They go from page 7 to page 11. There doesn't seem to be much new here, but there are a few sentences I had trouble figuring out. Here you go.

just browsing quickly here: last red box (without achieving the quest) probably means:

If a quest isn't achieved / completed succesfully (heroes die), they may try the same quest again until they succeed.

I agree with your translation, I'm arguing how it's put into practice. It doesn't make sense with the level-up game mechanic that's introduced in the Japanese rules. Players could "work the system" by playing and replaying easier quests without finishing them and acquiring enough gold to level up so that the later quests won't be as hard. I'm just saying there's got to be a catch, and I hope it will be explained later. Maybe under a level-up section.

Well, they only fail a quest if they all die, so no gold or gear/loot is transferred. You either need to start with fresh heroes, or you "reset" and try again, like a savegame from a videogame.

Been working on this slowly this week. I'm through page 11 now, and I also went back and finished the assembly stuff on page 2. I'm still not sure what's the best way to put this information on the site, but the jpegs were kindof a lot of work. I think I'll add a pdf doc of my translations to the topic post, and from now on whenever I get a new page or section done, I'll update the pdf. Sound good?

I have a brother in law who speaks Japanese, is the Japanese version posted somewhere?
