We're alive on this planet for only so long. If it makes you happy and really satisfies your weekends - why not blow a few hundred? How much do people spend on ONE day for their wedding???

It's your pick how you blow your cash - but I learned gradually not to judge what anyone else does with moolah - it can't buy love, but it can buy pleasure! (wooohooo!) And it sure comes in and goes out no matter what you spend it on.

You're absolutely right of course, but honestly, I can think of a lot of different ways to have a good time with 300,- that are far more enjoyable than a set of HQ :) But everyone his/her own I guess.

lol, yeah, Dutch people are cheap right? :P Well, I just try to get better value for my hard earned cash. Doesn't mean I won't spend it ;)

I think Ethica may have been steering toward the Red Light district on that one.

Lol, well, I live in Maastricht, a long way from Amsterdam, and I am glad we don't have a red light district. We do have coffeshops sadly, but the government is doing lots of stuff to keep it to a minimum, and to keep foreign visitors (drug-trafficing) away. But it's still a problem, fortunately not a really big one here.
I'd rather go out and have a good time in a regular pub, than to a coffeeshop. Never set foot in one, and never will.

I hope you understand it was a joke. I actually like the Netherlands (and not because of drugs or stuff - My feelings towards this are pretty neutral, but personally I've never been into it).

Great place, Holland. Used to build Nimbus Motorcycles out there, 4 cylinders, inline. Gouda cheese isn't bad either. Don't like Edam, too bland.
