Looking really good :D so awesome your HQ set will have pride of place on display.
Will there be a back or a front glass/perspex to keep the dust off? Or open for easy access?

I like the idea of lights being installed. I have plate glass for mine that I salvaged from a construction site, so I only have to install lights in the top of mine.

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to work on mine.

Put the rest of the bottom rows etched tiles down. Rest of the outside floors will have to wait till I make columns
Image

Cut some guides the exact depth of the prior holes I drilled to make sure I hit the exit.
Image

First Columns wires are now fed through to the back

Got the rest of the holes drilled and the wires fed through. Then started connecting the 3rd columns wires
Image

Did a quick test run to make sure all polarities are good.
Image

Made small incisions in the wires casing so each lights wires can cleanly wrap around and tap into the correct switch
Image

Soldered all connections and sacrificed an old small paintbrush to brush on the liquid electric tape.
Image

All the wires from the back

Cleaned up the wires using hot glue then drilled the holes in the top for the columns switches.
Image

Attached the battery pack and got all the wiring connected to the 3 switches
Image

Testing the light on one of the sections
Image

And another shot with a few minis inside

Decided to cut all the outer columns floors and just use lego blocks as temporary supports till I get proper ones happening so I can keep on working on other parts
Image

Lights all connected for the middle row

Hit a bit of a snag. The more lights I hook up the dimmer they all become as a whole. As you can see the middle column gets dimmer when I turn the others on. Have a light switch pack that takes D cells coming in the mail to fix the issue.

Just wow! I'd like to have this kind of space in my basement. I think my wife would immediately colonize it.
