I've been forgetting about the warrior's buckler. Bucklers give +1 defence dice against physical ranged attacks and I took two BP off him with the bowman so I'll roll two dice now and you'll get 1BP back for each white shield.

Rats can't do direct damage so snake (movement doubled through water):

All those monsters and you got a BP back.
Bats can dodge so if you attack it roll one dice for each skull you scored and if it gets any black shields you miss.
Warrior's Items: Potion Of Fire Resistence, Gem ( 35GP/+1MP).
