I believe we are up to a new round of turns. Ragnar looks to Sneeks, expecting to see him scouting ahead. Instead, he sees Sneeks completely absorbed in counting his coins. Hmm...now I know why he volunteered for the position. Well then, I'll take this opportunity to demonstrate my initiative, leading our group east around the corner. If there are no monsters to honorably/rashly attack, Ragnar will continue as far as he may, stopping 1 square past (but not directly in front of) any door. If there is a dead end, he instead stops at the corner and searches for secret doors and traps.

Movement:
Daedalus rolled 2 6-sided dice and got a total of 8:
3, 5

Possible attack:
Daedalus rolled 3 6-sided dice:
6, 2, 6

A fine example of how to scout ahead. Sneeks I hope you were paying attention ;)

Your search of this empty corridor reveals no traps.

When the adventurers later told their story of what happened in Ye Four Fat Pigs Inn Sarymor swore that the arrow came from a hidden trap somewhere in this corridor. But when the Heroes searched for traps, no trap could be found...

  • Sneeks - The Scout
    Attack - 2
    Defence - 5
    Body - 3
    Mind - 4

OK, I cannot pass the others, so I'll just join at the end of the line.
By himself Garmin wonders how far this will go. He just wanted to check the situation a bit before joining the other soldiers in the bar, not to examine the whole building. But he is neither an officer nor a nobleman. So he keeps his thoughts for himself.

Ragnar: Stop playing about, Sneeks. Get up there and have a look around the corner.

[I'm signing off to sleep, so anybody can take my turns for me.]

One more thing. I'd like to suggest a movement reroll ability for Sneeks. Allow Sjeng to edit a post with an optional reroll of 1 or both movement dice. This should bump his move closer to that of a mercenary Scout. Otherwise, the Scout only retains one of his advantages (disarming traps), and in a cooperative game that doesn't amount to as much, anyway.

Better still, Sneeks rolls 4 movement dice and discards 2. Faster play, better move.

Very well, if brave Sir Robin, errrr, Ragnar boldly lets his rogueish scout forge ahead, so I shall. Movement roll:

Sjeng rolled 2 6-sided dice:
1, 2

Great... 3 steps ahead. Sarymore better take point this time.

PS: after you post a roll dice post, you can check the roll, and edit your post for further actions. No need to double post all the time ;)

Sarymor's movement roll:

Sjeng rolled 2 6-sided dice:
4, 1

Sarymor walks up to the corner and takes a peek around... If there are no thugs or monsters, I'd like to check for traps + hidden doors ;)
