Well, then, having climbed out of that #* :skeleton: pit, I have a look for further traps.
Have a look ;)

Well, as I have no actions left for fighting, I won't open this other door. I'll just go back and see what the others are doing. Provided Sneeks lets me pass, I'll follow the corridor to the right as much as my movement goes, warning the others that there are traps in this inn.
Note:
Should include a hint in the questbook that this "treasure" card should be taken out of the deck for this quest...
Have a look ;)

Well well, Sneeks, the rogueish scout, rolls for movement
Sjeng rolled 2 6-sided dice:
5, 1

He walks into the stables, up to the door on his right, but doesn't open it yet. Instead, he searches for treasure!

Sarymor meanwhile does the same.
After searching for treasure (does that include the chest, or do you houserule chests as seperate objects, that must be searched for traps and loot?) He rolls for movement.

5, 1

I may, or may not, remove the remaining traps from the treasure deck. It will be a surprise for you.

Sorry but I am only going to allow each room to be searched for treasure once and Garmin has already searched this room. I am not going to let you all spend a week searching the same room!!
On this occasion you may re-plan Sneeks move (using the same dice rolls).

In this chamber riding equipment is stored, as well as the guests’ more unhandy pieces of luggage. The chest only contains personal items of little use to you (the guests probably carry their more valuable belongings with them). On the rack you find.....

You show no remorse as you take this fine spear from the rack and claim it as your own!!! Honestly, you call yourselves soldiers of the Empire but carry on like common thieves

Time for the "Leader" to take some action, before the rest of the party loses him. Ragnar moves East. He "lends a hand" as he passes Garvin, saying, "Do try to be more careful, man!"

Move:
Daedalus rolled 2 6-sided dice and got a total of 7:
5, 2

A crossbowman has less need of the spear than our scout, Sir Ragnar tells Sarymor.

What rules are we using for searches? Was Ragnar's initial (EU) search for traps and secret doors in the corridor sufficient, or does he need to declare seperate (NA) searches for traps and secret doors? I imagine there aren't any as noted earlier, but I'd like to clarify things now.

Another point--since we're using the EU rule of one search per room, may I assume we are also allowing EU treasure searches in corridors? If that is the case, Ragnar takes note of his surroundings and searches for treasure. Nobles should have spending cash, after all.

Oops! Missed that one. I thought it was a regular trap :D
Well, in that case, Sneeks has nothing to do in the stables, so he walks 6 squares east.

Sarymor, with his newfound spear, has 6 movement left, so he moves out and right, stopping in front of Sneeks, handing him the spear. (Can I hand him the spear like that, or does that require an action? And how about equipping it? Also an action?)

We're now standing in a conga line! woohoo! everybody con-GA! :) :D

I think 1 search for traps & secret doors will be sufficeient as my main aim with the rules is to keep the game moving. As we are only searching once per room I think searching corridors once as well would be good idea.

Sjeng wrote:Can I hand him the spear like that, or does that require an action? And how about equipping it? Also an action?

Of course you can hand him the spear like that and equipping will not take an action, just be clear which weapon you are fighting.

So I think we now look something like this
Image
I will assume Sir Ragnar searched the double corridor before moving and Sneeks searched the single corridor that you are all now standing in.

Sir Ragnar's search yields this
Image

and Sneeks is fortunate enough to find this

Somewhere I can here Garmin grumbling about 'Bloody Stables' & #* :skeleton: pit traps. :D
