Sir Ragnar: "Top notch, Sarymor! Garmin, see if you can dispatch the fiend in the kitchen on the right, placing yourself to his left. I'll then move north up and to the left of the other one to smite it.

Sarymor can fill in later so that we can bottle their number just inside the kitchen. Afterwards Sneeks can use his spear again from a safe distance, while Sarymor waits for a shot with his crossbow. When the battle tips to our side, we can rush in at the right moment and seal their entry way, Sneeks fighting from behind in a corner."

If we can keep a Hero on the trap door and kill the remaining Orcs, they can't get in (only one figure on a square).

Well, now the bottom two orcs are dead, Ragnar can also get in front of the door to block the rest and attempt to kill the one left of him in the kitchen
Then the others can help diagonally.

[Daedalus]

That was funny! I took the time to map stuff out to show why we shouldn't just block the door and maximize our diagonal attack ability. But maybe we can plow in early instead. Let's find out! I'm gonna go for the Orc in the doorway, however. Allowing Sarymor to kill the left Orc will maximize our killing potential for the next turn, anyway. Gotta keep their numbers low as Ragnar pushes in, otherwise he'll be cut to pieces with only one supporting diagonal attack. I hope Garmin can lend that diagonal support in there right off the bat so that Ragnar can advance to the trap door more quickly.

Well Sir Ragnar took the time to draw extensive diagrams of his battle plans and then failed to stick to them.
He is now stranded in the doorway and open to 3 Orc attacks

Morcar's Turn

1up is the Orc in the doorway.

Orc Attack:

A good hit to start with. He now moves N to make room for the 2nd Orc in the Pantry.

Still reeling from his wound Sir Ragnar manages to raise his sword and parry the second Orcs attack.
Smelling blood the 3rd Orc stabs Sir Ragnar in the back with his rusty blade....

This Orc then makes a run for the kitchen door attempting to cut Sir Ragnar and Garmin off from the other soldiers.
