Judging from this image on the Avalon Hill Instagram, it would appear that the quest might start in Ye Olde Inn...

Ha, I love it. Might need bigger chairs... |_P

As good as it looks, I prefer the various "Inn" tiles posted on our site, but they can't just copy that exactly now can they?

Is it a tribute? Do they know we exist? I'll just take it in a good spirit.

Just seeing the new HeroQuest unboxing video from Cosmic Tavern and noticed some stuff related to this questpack.
The tiles, of course, but this one comes with two new artifacts also:

CROWN OF SHADOWS:
Armor - This helmet gives you 1 extra Defend die and allow you to see normally in darkness both magical and nonmagical.

DRAGON SPEAR:
Weapon - A long magical spear of dwarven make. When using it roll 3 Attack dice or roll 4 if attacking a dragon. This weapon may be used to attack diagonally. May not be used by the wizard.

So the Dragon Spear is clearly a weapon useful against the Dragon like the Spirit Blade was for the Witch Lord.
The Crown let me think to a new rule about darkness which may limit a hero's movement, combat skills and searches.

Yeah... good catch, those kind of things are the ones that enrich this game if they are correctly designed, we will see...

someone posted a video showing how not stable is the dragon and how he can easily fall down. The base should have been done bigger.

Unlike the Dragon Spear, no restriction for the Wizard . . . strange. Do the AH rules mention all armor is restricted to the Wizard, or can the Crown of Shadows be worn by all Heroes like the EU Borin's Armor?

Is the story any good? Are the quests well designed?

Is it secret? Is it safe?

Okay, time for me to sleep... enough updates for one day!
