I hope one day to read in Saturday Night DUNGEON! of a Command spell cast on a Hero weilding Orc's Bane. The double attacks forced against the Orc Bard should amuse Zargon greatly.

That's hilarious, never thought of that.

It's interesting that the quest books from the kickstarter give a quasi explanation for how you can get an orc character.

Someone 3d printed a bunch of original Heroquest minis but all as Musicians. Including an original Orc.
I cant find the pictures, but maybe someone else remembers them.

Also, Command on a character with Orc Bane, when the Orc bard is in group.
That would be just mean.... haha

I think I saw these as resin prints on Etsy. Didn't remember an Orc though...

Yeah, there is an Orc, looks just like the originals, but since it is playing a Mandolin, it looks rally short...
So maybe its a Dwarf Orc Bard.....

In the companion app, it gives you an explanation on how you can attack, for each character differently depending on their starting weapon.

For example for the warrior it is the following:

For the warlock it shows the following:

And for the bard it shows the following:

That picture looks to me like the Rapier can actually only attack diagonally and not in a straight line?
In the description for the Rapier, when they say "may be used to attack diagonally", maybe what they actually mean is "may only be used to attack diagonally"?
I always thought diagonal attack weapons can do both, attack straight and diagonally.
On the one side I would like this because it could make the gameplay and strategy between the different heroes more interesting, and maybe also balance the bard a bit better compared to the old heroes.
On the other side this would mean the bard has pretty much no way to fight enemies in the corridors

Very good catch! The app picture for the Bard should be an errata since rapier price (250 gold coins) suggests that it can be also used to attack adjacent squares like a short sword. If I am wrong... bad news I think.
