Calling it a kit is going a bit far, it's just a printout. The symbols to the side aren't even scaled to the same size as the dungeon map, so you can't just cut them out and stick them on even if there were enough. Might be better to just use letters on the map and write those over the symbols in solid black.

it's just a sheet, so maybe a more appropriate name would be Adventure Design sh*t

If you look at lucapaschi's design notes it's clear that even the HeroQuest developers (those that worked on the last official packs in '92) didn't use the maps and their symbols but just drew everything in pen on lined or graphing paper. Letters, symbols, but no attempt to copy and paste the actual map conventions. It just took too long, unless it was a computer program or sticker sheet (which could get expensive for just drafting stuff) I suppose.

1, 2, 5, 4 are the official stats for the Rogue hero...

dagger and bandolier in combination gives him his abilities (probably similar to how 2 of the 3 Knight skills required the shield)

Opportunistic Strike is one the Rogue's Skills.

So I wonder what the mobility means... does that mean he could move, attack, move (or interrupt his movement then continue it after his action unlike all other heroes)? Or does it mean like he can slip past monsters similar to dust of disappearance?

Or does he have the ability to throw his knives at monsters even if they are behind other figures? Without seeing the actual wording we're speculating and reading between the lines from that article.

Pre-Orders begin today (Aug 3, 2022). I won't pre-order, only order.

The way Chris Nadeau talks about it, continues to affirm the notion that it will be retail, rather than a limited time exclusive (which wouldn't have much opportunity to change the way HeroQuest is played).

Actually, I consider the DQP that someone completed on this site to be perfect, so AH would do well to ask permission to use that as it's basis.
