Okay I'm slowly learning how to properly run things in this "game." So you subscribe to the mods and then you create your game and load them in "Workshop." And you load the main one, then click on the three dots in the corner of another mod and "additive load" (meaning you drop it on top of the previous one). A lot of the mods have missing models, so I have just been using process of elimination to find the best ones. Once in the game (I have to use "OpenGL" or the game doesn't launch at all from Steam... my system is ancient) you can actually delete the pieces you don't need. I don't want the dice towers (although that's interesting) or the "2d" style character markers or the animated miniatures that look like they were grabbed from some other game. I should post some screenshots, but I've seen people have created some pretty decent looking 3d scans of the original miniatures in both classic solid colors and "painted" looking. The board tends to get pretty cluttered and I haven't tried playing online with others, but looks very promising. Too bad so many of the versions out there are broken. But it's all free (once you buy "tabletop simulator"). Looks like they have all the expansions and a lot of homebrew rules including many inspired from this community.
