It seems more like an one eyed ogre, the nose is in the center and the eye is at one side. The white hair ogre could be a shaman.

Yeah you're probably right. I guess I'm just too eager to see them create some new monsters to support the Ogres. Smaller quicker monsters I mean like beast men or giant rats.

I definitely see the Orge Lord (or King) out front. Then a gladiator type, the "typical" Ogre on the right (aka the Ogre from MotM), and the shaman looking one.

The "gladiogre" is maybe the old "ogre champion"?

PT2: Maybe the ogre shaman are a substitute of the chaos warlocks and they will have the same magic system but now as ogre magic?

I could see that, although I wouldn't typically associate mind powers with Ogres lol.

One thing I noticed while I was looking over the box art is that these Ogres look like big Orcs. Kind of disappointing. I know MotM has Ogres too but it was harder to see a resemblance because of the size and color. But on this box they look like a bunch of orcs to me.

So the latest talk (following LUCCA 2023 convention) is of a "new way to play" called "the Arena." Against the Ogre Horde is confirmed as the official name (no short forms). March 2024 is the official release month and the price point and box size are confirmed to what we presumed all this time (the store leak was correct). So far the front cover of the box has been revealed, but no more. Yet the size indicates we can expect equivalent content to the FH/MOTM/ROTDM boxes (as Encarmine led us all to expect in his comments at GenCon).

Nobody yet knows quite what is meant by The Arena, from the cryptic clues at GenCon to Avalon Bill's latest social media post. It may be this is a revival of (including Hero vs. Hero combat) the "Arenas" presented in the training sections of the 1989 (1st edition) HeroQuest Rules of Play, perhaps tweaked with fan suggestions for initiative? Or it may be something entirely new. "Three new quests" are confirmed, but are these arenas the new quests? Or perhaps they are something like the Hideouts or Plazas in ROTDM, special areas where certain new rules apply? Unknown yet at this time.

Also there is talk of an "Ogre King." Not sure if this is a new name for the Ogre Lord or perhaps a new character entirely, I'm not even sure where I read that, but some people are mentioning it now.

It may be wishful thinking, but I really want to see the box top and bottom both designed with different "arenas" on the inside.

I wonder if they do an arena tile will work with prophecy of Telor? They technically could just say the hallways of the regular board is the arena or something like that I guess.
